Woo Boost

I’m a sucker for a good music video. Perhaps is cause I am a product of the Mtv era when they actually played music videos? I dunno. Anyway, Mad Decent ended up putting out an alternate version of Rusko’s “Woo Boost” video. This version is much better in my humble opinion. I found it both hilarious, and inspiring. The blog has been  video overload lately, but there’s been some good ones lately. In the scheme of things, I’d say thats pretty rare. Anyway, this video is great, gonna watch it again after I post this! Angel Dust, LSD, skateboarding puppets, strange caped wizard guy on flying carpet, yes, this is my type of thing!

As Promised…

Craze said he’d give away a lil something… here it is!

You and I both know it REAL well…

We played it over and over on his signature Mishka Keep Watch mix. We searched for it. It wasn’t on the blogs…

We couldn’t get our hands on it… until now!

Craze flips this joint and gives it a whole different feel.  The video for the original track quickly moves you through the busy streets of Hong Kong.  Craze takes you to the laid-back lifestyle of the Caribbean.

True Summertime vibes!!! Enjoy!

Stay Tuned. Slow Roast Records is feeling pretty generous…

Born Free

This caught my eye over the weekend, it’s the new video directed by Romain-Gavras, he’s the dude who did the Justice “Stress” video. This new one is for MIA’s new single Born Free, and felt it was worth sharing. Also, FYI there’s a bit of blood and gore in this, but nothing to excessive.

*Well maybe the exploding boy at the end was a bit excessive after all…

Donnis “Gone”

It’s becoming easier and easier to get behind Hip-Hop now a days.  Everything hasn’t completely changed, but it’s obviously headed in the right direction.  Donnis is next in line to make sure things stay on track.  He’s already been named one of XXL magazine’s “Freshmen 10” and, from the looks of it, he has no plans to stop at that.

The video for his first single “Gone” was released Tuesday, April 13th. Directed by BBGun, who did an amazing job, it’s loaded with cameos: A-trak, Just Blaze, and Estelle just to name a few.

We need more guys like him & Yelawolf to revive Hip-Hop music.

Hmmm… If only we could get them to come out and rock Coachella with us this Saturday at the Sahara stage at around 4PM.  Hahahah.

Redlight AK-47 Mix

Hey Ya’ll,

Louie here! Been rockin’ this mixtape in my iPod for a while now. Its from our boy Redlight (aka Clipz). It’s got the perfect blend of dubstep, reggae, old skool drum’n'bass, wobble, at 130 bpm. It’s been out for a couple months, but it’s definitely blog worthy and a must have! Favorite tune from this mix, Shake It – Toddla T makes me wanna get naked! Wuueeee!

Love,

Louie
