First off,
All of the finalist entries were very well done! We were torn, and relieved that we didn’t have to personally make the call for the winner on this one! It was up to the voters to choose the winner, and an overwhelming amount of votes went to Zebo for his juke style remix. However we did have some personal favorites too that we gotta mention! We thought these guys did an amazing job and deserve a bit of shine:

The Ultraviolet sound remix was particularly original, with original vocals, and one of the only dubstep submissions. It was amazingly well done and was even featured on Perez Hiltons blog. We were really blown away by this one!

The Sean Bronze remix was outstanding as well, and will def make it into our dj sets. Great mixdown on this, a definite dancefloor BOMB!

The Fujiarian remix got our attention as well, the melodic intro was awesome! We listened to this over and over in the hotel the day after our DC show on tour.

All the rest were great as well, after all, we hand chose them as finalists! Out of the 50+ submissions we were looking for originality first and foremost on these and second to that, a solid mixdown. Again round of applause for all the finalists, in our opinion you guys kicked some ass on these!

Big thanks to the voters for supporting our first ever SR remix contest, and an even bigger thanks to all the remixers for jumpin’ aboard and showing us what you got! It was a lot of fun hearing what you guys came up with, and we will definitely consider doing another sometime in the not-so-distant future!
